We currently only accept submissions of poetry.

Please send up to 3 poems, no more than five pages, in ONE document. Please be sure to send in at least three poems so we can get a feel for your work. We will accept submissions until July 15.

Please note: Blue Island Review seeks authors living in or connected to Kansas and Northeast Missouri – especially the Kansas City area. We are a regional journal hoping to bring writers together from diverse backgrounds. In your bio, please include a short explanation of your connection to the area.
